Office Protocol - Updated 1/1/23

We are excited to announce that Dr. Janney will be going back to in-person appointments. (Please continue reading below for full details and some changes to previous protocols).

The past three years have been a bit unusual. We want to thank you all for your patience and understanding which allowed us to work together to navigate unprecedented times. While we were doing our curbside protocol, we learned many things, some of which we plan to adopt as we reopen our doors to clients.

We discovered that we have a significant number of clients who prefer the curbside protocol, either because it is more conducive to their remote work schedule, or because their pets do better in a clinic setting when away from their owners. As a result, we are continuing to offer curbside appointments for those clients who are so inclined. Please email or text us after you get your appointment reminder to let us know if you would like to continue to have your appointments curbside.

We also realized that changing some of our previous in-person protocols would optimize the experience for those clients who wish to come into the office with their pets. If you will be accompanying your pet into the office, we ask that you adhere to the following in-person protocols:

If your pet is being adjusted and/or receiving acupuncture with Dr. Janney, please call upon arrival to let us know when you are in the parking lot. At that point, one of our staff will let you know when to bring your pet into the office. Once in the office, we will get your pet weighed and then have you go directly to the examination room. Due to the small nature of our space, we would like to limit as much possible interaction between patients in the waiting room. Our clients are welcome to be present for the entirety of all chiropractic and acupuncture treatments.

If your pet receives laser therapy in addition to their adjustment and/or acupuncture with Dr. Janney, we ask that you leave your pet with Christina for the laser treatment, check out at the front desk, and then wait at your vehicle for your pet.

If your pet receives laser therapy as its sole treatment, these appointments will remain curbside. Please call when you arrive and we will come out and get your pet, do the laser therapy treatment, and return your pet to your vehicle.

If at the time of your appointment, you are feeling sick or are positive for the flu and/or COVID, please let us know and we would be happy to reschedule.

All of these changes are to help us with the flow of the office and allow us to make the most efficient use of our small space and limited examination rooms.

Dr. Belden would like to remain curbside with her patients for the foreseeable future. If you have an appointment with Dr. Belden, please call the office when you arrive and she will come out to meet you at your vehicle. As for those patients who see both Dr. Janney and Dr. Belden, we are happy to welcome you into the office for your visit with Dr. Janney but please call when you arrive and we will further direct you on how to proceed.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Thanks again for your continued support!

Britta Janney, DVM
